We are delighted to be taking part in Bradford Refugee Festival on Saturday 4th June at Bradford University.
This is a free festival with food, poetry, music, workshops, football tournaments and plenty of stalls to keep the whole family entertained!
Other workshops include: Free Massages, Knitting Choir, Healthy Eating & Gardening, Mehndi & Face Painting, First Aid, Art for Children, Drumming, Tea & Tolerance and Crafts

As part of the celebrations Wur Bradford will be running a drop in creative workshop showing people how to make ‘instant books’ (sometimes also called ‘zines’ – handmade, self published magazines). An instant book a simple booklet made from one sheet of paper , and we will be using simple collage, drawing, and printing techniques, showing people how to create their own story, or message to the world. Here are some examples people have made in other workshops.
Come and join us anytime between 10am and 3pm – it’s free , suitable for all ages and abilities and all are warmly welcomed!
